Process and Timeline

At our April 1, 2009 meeting, RTAG members met and discussed progress on the 2008-2009 work plan. Upon examination, we have determined that approximately 75% of the work scheduled to be finished by the end of 2009 is already complete. Therefore, we are currently discussing and taking ideas for our 2009-2010 work plan. It is vital that the work plan meet the specifications previously outlined in the regional plan under which we have operated for the last couple of years.

We are also planning a comprehensive update for the regional transportation plan. TxDOT has formulated a work group made of several individuals from different regions around the state and is planning on giving guidance regarding these comprehensive updates in the near future.

When a new work plan and/or comprehensive plan update is approved and new work begins, this page will be updated with the latest information.
